Club Membership Update

Dear Parent/Guardian of members of GLJFC,

As we very frustratingly come to terms with the certainty no football activity for at least several weeks, there is still the possibility that this could be extended further in which case we wanted to address again, the issue of the monthly subscription payments for your child/children that you make to the Club.

On further reflection, with no training or matches likely for a while, it would be unreasonable for us as a Club to expect you to continue to make subscription payments. However, from an administrative point of view, I am asking everyone once again NOT to cancel your regular payments, but to reduce them to 1p for the duration of the lockdown.
If you would like to continue to contribute to the club by continuing with your subscription, this is much appreciated.

We understand the majority of you have continued to make full payments for the previous 3 months, without experiencing the full benifit of training and matches.

In response, we are proposing;

1) Subscription Payments are not made for the first two months after we restart.
2) We will waiver the annual signing on fee of £20.00 for the 2021/22 season for existing and new members.
3) No increase to season 2021/22 subscriptions.

Whilst this will inevitably have an impact on the Club’s finances, rest assured that our Club is in a good financial position, is able to withstand this period and ultimately emerge in a good state, ready to welcome back full footballing activities for all our teams, whenever that may be.
